British Legion Dinner
Saturday night and we leave the hotel once again for the short walk to the Royal British Legion
Salisbury. Peter Limb volunteered to act as minder to our graphic link with the past, RSM 'Yakker' Yates and escorted him to the Dinner. When everyone was
settled, Buck anounced the results of a questionnaire he'd handed out on Friday's welcoming gathering. Amongst the questions posed were how people felt about
possible future reunions in this country and Thailand. We are pleased to say with few if any exceptions, that people want a reunion next year in this country and
a large number of people expressed an interest for a reunion in Thailand. Plans are well advanced for both reunions. A chuckle was raised as Buck's lent his talents
to sorting out the starters menu. Luckily for us, his organisation skills came to the fore as he produced a list for the catering staff who'd misplaced theirs. Nostalgia
and memories bought much enjoyment to the gathering as the pictures show. All to soon time had flown and we reluctantly made our way back to the Hotel.
