Loni Davidson, the daughter of Sgt. Major Harry 'Yakker' Yates, was reunited with her dad on
Monday 9th of August 2010 after a period of some 19 years. Her emotions were obvious when her father's
doppelganger opened the door for her at the home of Buck and Rosemary Brown. She spent the next couple of days
around the Salisbury area in the company of Buck and Rosemary, Harry and Theresa Collar and John and Freda Hamnett.
Here's what Loni had to say about her visit:- ' I cannot thank you enough for what you did for me. It was a beautiful visit and I loved every minute of it.. memories that can't ever be replaced. Everyone made me feel so welcome. You are all wonderful people.. Thank you, Thank you. Salisbury is very beautiful and nice place for a reunion. I know you will enjoy it a lot..
