Below the latest pictures of the airfield are shown in the slideshow. The pictures were taken by Ray Hough on a visit to Loeng Nok Tha late in February 2012. Ray reports " The perimeter fencing is near to completion. A medium sized plane landed here recently. An open day is planned sometime in the next few weeks, I will try to find
out when this open day is and take more pics. Apparently
there are still a few problems. The locals do not like the fencing round
the airfield so still a few things to be ironed out". Ray also drove down a couple of roads which bought back memories of how Highway 212 used to be. Place your cursor over a picture to stop the slideshow. |
